Dear Division 4 Parents,
It’s hard to believe that we only have two months of school left. We’re working hard to complete several large projects and are looking forward to lots of fun events in the next few months.
Here are some important dates for this month:
May 2 – Tuneful Tuesday
May 8 – Mikeal’s birthday
May 10 – Scholastic orders due
May 13 – Spring Fun Fair (5-8 PM)
May 16 – Jump Rope for Heart Assembly
May 19 – Justin’s birthday
May 23 – Victoria Day (no school)
May 26 –Jump Rope for Heart event
May 27 – Cassy’s birthday
May 30 – Fox Awards Assembly 9:00 AM
May 31 – Crazy Hair Day
We have now finished our public speaking, and were very pleased by the efforts put in by all our students. Well done! Thank you to all the families who helped their child practice for the speak-offs.
Right now, students are working on two projects – one in Science (grade fours only), and one in Social Studies (both grades). While most of the work will be done in class, there may be some times when your child will have to complete some extra work at home. Please remember to check your child’s planner and sign it daily to ensure that no homework is missed.
